By Doug Hardtmayer

Episode 22 of RadioNuclear is now available. In this episode, we discuss the recent miniseries “Chernobyl”, which recently concluded on HBO. We debunk some of the more egregious articles written in the wake of the show (see links to these articles below). We also discuss good ways to engage with individuals who are captivated with the show, and not necessarily familiar with nuclear technology.

Special guest in #22 is Tom Bergman, vice president of regulatory affairs for NuScale. He is responsible for all licenses, certifications and activities related to the U.S. regulations and international client licensing support. He has more than 30 years of experience in the nuclear industry. He is also a 23-year veteran of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Bergman most recently held positions were in the Office of New Reactors as the deputy director for licensing operations and the director of the Division of Engineering.
